Ping Color Chart
Ping Color Chart. Finding the Right Colour Code for You Using the PING Color Code Chart would be the first step in finding the correct colour code. Your PING iron static fitting recommendations for lie angle and length are determined using the PING Color Code Chart (below) using a combination of your height and wrist-to-floor measurement (first wrist crease).
Golfers quickly see how having the right lie angle helps their game and begin to identify. Through decades of fittings and research, PING has evolved the Color Code Chart with the goal of delivering the most accurate and comprehensive iron fittings in golf. The dot system is also referred to as the PING color chart.
You can see the different heights written horizontally at the top of the chart while the distance of the wrist-to-ground is written vertically.
I'm a color flatter than the chart says. [/quote] oh, ok thats good to know too. thanks!
Only way to really zero in is an active fitting with a lie board and tape. This is the angle between the shaft and ground at normal playing position. My experience is the Ping Color Code chart is a great place to start, but not the end all.
