Eye Color Chart. There is still an endless number of possible shades between two adjacent colors on the chart. Mom's eyes + Dad's eyes = Baby's eyes.
An eye color chart "predicts" a child's eye color based on their parents' eye colors. The numbering is reversed on the scale below in the (later) Martin-Schultz scale, which is (still) used in physical anthropology. According to World Atlas, eye color tends to fall into these percentages:.

At least, that's what we used to think.
Irises are classified as being one of six colors: amber, blue, brown, gray, green, hazel, or red. The eye is blueish as it first starts to develop, gradually becoming the final adult color at three months. In this overly simple scenario, the brown eye color was "dominant" over the blue eye color.
